Attended a wedding @ The Chevrons last night with Hubby and in-laws. Venue, ambience, entertainment was splendid. Food was very ‘so-so’ but had a wide variety. I fell-in-love with the chocolate puffs. Hubby was mistaken when he thought he had taken Durian puffs, when in fact, those were Mango puffs instead. heheh. He and his never-ending-crave for durians. Too bad.
Today nothing much to do. Hubby’s working as usual. In-laws went out for another wedding @ Tampines. Since it’s not someone I’m very close to, I decided to give a miss. So I’m stuck at home with dearest Spiky –he’s a cat by the way. Which is surprisingly quite comforting cos I don’t feel too lonely or bored. He’s quite a sweetie and very manja. Though I’m not really into cats, but neither am I traumatised when he’s near me. As long as he doesn’t jump at me, I’m ok when he comes near to sniff-sniff or walk very near to me. I can get used to it. One thing for sure, my room is out of bounds to him.. but all the more he will sneak-in whenever the room door is open. He doesn’t seem to mind my shrieking when he does that. Naughty pussy cat.
Ok, I don’t know why I can’t stop talking about this cat now. Maybe I’ll even post a pic of him.. Hahah… This is him..... ---->
Tomorrow there’s 2 majlis cukur rambut to attend. One will be @ CCK (Norlin’s daughter) and the other one @ Tampines (in-law’s relative). Another busy day i guess...

It's coming to an end. Which means a new beginning is awaiting to happen.
As i counted the days left.. for the arrival of the lil' one.. i can't help feeling the rush of excitement. Thoughts of me as a mother.. as an umi. Will i be a good mother? I will try.. InsyaAllah.
Anyways, my sister borrowed a book from her friend. Not just any other book. But the book i'm dying to read -well, not really 'dying' lah..but very eager to read. Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. Woots... the 4th book. Like finally. And my sister lend it to me first cos she's still reading Eclipse (the 3rd book). To Maria - I guess u won't have to lend me the book.. but thanks for offering yea.. So back to the book.. Yes, things that i anticipated were true... can't wait to finish up.. looks like i'm left with at least another 200 pages. Whee...
I don't have much to blog already. Guess i can't blog much anyway... how i wish there's internet at in-laws house. I'm currently on HL again till next week. Then yet another check-up on 2nd Feb. Since i'm not supposed to be resting 24hrs a day and doc says it's good to have regular walks (few hours a day) so that i may have an easier delivery, i decided to 'go for a walk' and drop-by my parents house today. And that's why i'm online now. Haha... I miss my own home though.. Gotta go back to the in-laws soon.. maybe after dinner.

Initially i wanted to blog while indulging Wall's Chocolate Heaven ice-cream. heh. But after eating each spoonful, my hands refuse to type and i ended up finishing the ice-cream first before starting on this entry. Simply yummy-licious i tell u..
Anyway, my Manager - Gwen, has safely delivered her lil one yesterday, Kayla Iris Daniel. Welcome to the world baby! I'm sure she'll grow up to be pretty just like the mummy.. =)
And oh, last night i dreamt. Dreamt that i've delivered my lil baby girl. Dun remember much about the details thou. haha. Maybe too excited for the coming Monday's check-up with the gynae. By the way, we've finally decided on the name. Yes. Like finally. N-- A--- I-------.
Name hunting is seriously a tedious process. We wanted something which sounds nice yet meaningful. There are many many many 'modern' names out there that simply doesnt have meanings or cant even be spelt in jawi. But finally we settled on this one. =)
Last night mami norma came to deliver the 2 long-dresses. hah. My post-delivery dresses. They're basically like night-gowns.. silk-like material. Since Thomson Med do not provide in-hospital gowns, and i cant find a suitable one to buy, MIL bought the cloths and i got it tailor-made instead. Not being choosy, but those ready-made ones are either knee-short dresses or long dress but with short sleeves. So, it's finally time for me to pack my hospital bag.
I feel so sleepy now.. but i haven't had lunch yet. Maybe a quick nap then i'll grab lunch later. Luckily i had late breakfast tiz morning.. Ok, that's it for now. I'm out.

I've been having restless nights. Not very sure why. I feel deprived of sleep lately.
Sometimes i wake up in the wee hours just to find myself in an uncomfortable position and had to rearrange my 3 pillows. Yes, i sleep with 3 pillows.. haha. And i always feel the baby's still moving about at such a time. Sometimes i just envy the peaceful sleep hubby has every night.
It's coming to the 35th week already. Which means i'm gonna be 9mths preggie by next week. How time flies, yeah. Gosh... i just cant stop thinking about D-day. Well, Mila gave birth @ 35wks and 3days, while Huda @ 36wks. How not to worry? I'm not sure how it will be for me. How hubby, our parents n our siblings will react when i'm in labour. Since it's the first one for both sides.
Anyway, we're packing our things and for the first time ever, we will be away from our own house for a period of 2mths or so. Yup, moving-in to the in-laws place this weekend till i finish my 40days confinement (which of cos depends when i deliver).
Next monday, i'm having another check-up.. hopefully things go smoothly. I dont understand why i'm having the jitters still. MIL will be tagging us along too... i'll definitely get a earful of 'nagging' for having so much stretch marks on my tummy (itchy hands lor.. who ask me to scratch-scratch kan?) And oh, it's time to book a bed..i prolly be choosing the 4-bedded since i heard Thomson Med always upgrade it to 2-bedded w/o extra charge. I will not stay in a single room cos im such a coward i guess. Think the last time i was hospitalised was when i was below 8yrs old due to diarrhea/food poisoning. heheh.
Oh, there's America Got Talent tonight.. yay! And American Idol too.. which i tink i shud give it a miss since i'm working tomorrow. I need sleep more than TV. Cos i know i'm gonna be a nocturnal once baby's out. But hey, no pain no gain right? -stay positive dila-
All of a sudden i'm craving for ice-cream. Like NOW. So i better go off. Till the next entry... peace!

I know i've procrastinated long enough before finally updating. Hehe.
Work has been occupying most of my weekdays and family has been occupying my weekends.
Thus, the delay for this. Sorry peeps.
Anyways...2009 has begun and i must say that it had started off wonderfully. (*is there sucha word?ah.. who cares.) Well well... Things have been great so far.. thank God.
Work was pretty much the same when i came back after 4weeks. But i had 651 emails sitting in my inbox. Which of cos, took me awhile to clear n sort 'em out. Also, glad to know i still remembered what i needed to do at work.
Oh, Huda gave birth early this time.. at 36weeks, Darwisyah Rihana decided to 'pop-out' of mummy's tummy to see the world on 31Dec08. It was hours before the New Year thou. Nevertheless, most important is both mummy n baby are well. Me, Nozie and Aiz managed to visit her at the hospital on New Year.. I must say i kinda envy her for being able to 'maintain' after 3 kids.. which she delivered normally (but with the help of epidural thou). Geee... speaking of which, my turn will come s-o-o-n.
By the way, few weeks ago, i happen to find a long lost pri sch friend- Riyana. Thru facebook when i searched for her full name. My heart skipped a beat when i saw it was really her. Gosh, if i'd knew she had FB, i'd do tiz much much earlier. And i noticed we had one mutual friend - who's my cousin! So, i did the obvious. Added Riyana and asked my cousin how she knew her. And within a span of 48hrs, Riyana sms-ed me (well, she was suprised and asked my cousin for my number). And so from there we updated each other on our lives and asked who we still keep in touch with - which brings to yet another suprise. While im still very much in contact with Huda, she is in touch with Hidayah. See, how small the world is? Riyana intends to hold a gathering - a reunion session for all of us, but since Huda gave birth a few days after, i thought it would be fun to meet-up and give Huda a suprise visit. So, on 2nd Jan i arranged for the meet-up and it turned out to be such a memorable reunion indeed! We chatted and laughed like there's no tomorrow. Everyone was eager to say something and we had moments we reminisced and felt like a 12-year old all over again.. hahah.. with this, we are expecting more meet-ups in future. =)
Twilight. New Moon. Eclipse. And i think im having a crush on Edward Cullen. Yeah right. hahah. After i watched the twilight movie, i simply couldnt wait for the 2nd movie. Thus i searched for the 2nd book - New Moon. As they were all sold-out at Popular Causeway Point, i got elder sis to help me find it elsewhere instead. I started reading almost non-stop when i got it and finished reading in 3days. And then, it's very tempting to get the 3rd book - Eclipse. So last Monday i went to MPH at City Link Mall which ended up in a disappointment. Walked to Suntec City and the Popular bookstore's stock are all sold out as well! Damn. Not giving up, i cab to Takashimaya and looked for it at Kinokuniya next. Thank God, i managed to grab their 3rd last stock. Phew... but the 4th book - Breaking Down, is sold out. Nevermind, better than nothing. Feeling contented, i dropped by Borders before going home and checked if they have any, but no stock either. So there goes my book-hunting trip and again i finished reading after 3 days. It's quite an achievement thou.. for me to finish reading a 'more than 500 pages' book. I think the last time i read a book that long was Harry Potter series. haha.... can someone lend me the 4th book (Breaking down) please? =P
Oh...congrats to lil sis who scored A1 for her Malay O level. All the best for your other papers this year! And all the best to lil bro too, who'll be sitting for his PSLE this year... Do us proud, okie?
