So here goes yet another entry..
Checking calendar... oh.. its 26 September already! Hurhur... counting down to Syawal. But then.. thinking twice, i'm so gonna miss the month of Ramadan -which is full of blessings. Anyways, an update for the week...
Work was as normal.. i'm clearing my TMs.. yes, transaction monitorings which i loathe to do.. and i'm still left with 15 to go.. "you can do it, dila.." and i plan to clear everything together with the coaching logs by Monday. Yes... no more procrastinating cos i tink i've wasted enuff precious time already. I'm so into raya mood already.... let me tell u why... cos on Tuesday will be half-day.. Wednesday is raya.. Thursday i'm on leave.. Friday i'm on leave.. Saturday is Off day (prolly be goin bck to kampung Air Hitam for a day).. Sunday is Rest day.. Monday i'm on leave (and not forgetting..yet another check-up @ the gynae...) So which means i will bounce back to work on Tuesday, 7 Oct. woooooohooooo..... yay-ness.... how not to be excited?
On a sad note.. 2 of my agents will be leaving my team. haish. Which is not a choice of mine of cos. They'll be doing another project by SIA.. hmmm... To my dearest Nandini and Haswasti : I wish u both the best of luck... Kip in touch and be good okie? Come n visit me if u miss me, ya? heee.
On a sad-der note... my best buddy.. Wen MingMei will be taking over another team.. which means we wont be buddy-team leaders anymore... how sad.. yes, i still have Devi a.k.a Blossom.. but we will miss u dearly.. i will especially miss your positive-ness.. your humour.. your laughter... i will miss y-o-u. Good luck k? i'll be there if u need me... dont worry! =)
Ok, enuf of sad-sad tings... here's an update of what hubby n me had done to our house..
1) Bought and put up 2 ayat in our house.. one big one and one small one..
2) Bought some mini-mirrors from Ikea and pasted on one of our walls...
3) Put up our 2 framed-up wedding photos in the living room..
4) Laid the 2 new carpets in the rooms..
5) Shifted the wardrobe in our room to the other side..
6) Pasted wall-borders in the 2 rooms which we had procrastinated for almost a year..
7) Pasted some decorative thingy in the kitchen..
8) Bought and placed some flowers in the living room..
What we are left to do : change cushion covers, bedsheets, shifting the dining table and sofa set, vacuuming the living room, place the kuih-kuih in the kuih jars. That's it and we are all set for raya. hahah... so the semangat kan..
Oh yes... so looking forward to mum cooking ketupat, sambal goreng pengantin, rendang ayam tua, rendang daging, serunding, lodeh, etc.... yum yum. *drools*
I might be going over to mum's place tomorrow to help her make cake swiss roll.. yup.. with Nutella. hehehe.... ok, i tink i mention enuff abt food here. bleargh.. who cares?
Ok, i shall put up photos of our home soon...(as per my dearest Mrs Rashid's request) Perhaps i might snap the pics on pagi raya... or malam raya... see how la k? hehehe...
That's it for now people... depending on my bz-ness or lazy-ness.. this might be the entry before raya... maybe i'll update again after raya...
And to the people who's reading my blog in my blogger blog or multiply blog (cos' its auto-transferred)... I wish u all Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.. Maaf zahir dan batin.. Yang terkasar bahasa.. It's been almost a month since i blogged. Been busy, lazy and no mood to blog.
Well i finally decided to update. hehe.
Oh well.. its Ramadan now.. the fasting month..
things have been been fine.. evryting seems ok.. lots of meet-ups wif buddies..
not forgetting Aiz's bdae celebration.. buke-ing with frens... families.. etc.
It's been a blessed month i must say.
Oh. yah.. celebrated our 1st year wedding anniversary on 2nd Sept.
with a bouquet of flowers, an i love u balloon and a perfect dinner.
the lil one growing in me is doing fine so far.. i managed to gain 200grams since the 1st check-up.
will be 20 weeks soon... meaning, doing the detailed scan and confirming the gender on 6Oct.
wheee~ how time flies.
Some things goin on @ the workplace. Which i do not wish to elaborate abt.
I just hope the change is for the better. Amin.
Like what a colleague said: "We are just like a chess set on the chess board.It's them who's making all the move."
Anyways, i'm looking @ the bright side of life. whatever happens, happens for a reason.
Me n Hubby are both looking forward to the 1st raya @ our own home.
Thou we are on a tight budget, it didnt dampen our spirits. Speaking of which, we are geylang-ing again tonight. Luckily dad's not using the car, which means, we can buy stuff w/o having to drag them home with us in the train. heh. we plan to get 2 carpets.. one for our room and one for the praying room. we also plan to get a new tablecloth or table runner.. tot of buying some ayat.. but see how later.. we've already decorated our corridor with lampu lap-lip and ribbon-ketupat and banners and flowers. so we are only left with a couple of things to do.
Zakat has been paid by hubby.. alhamdulillah. and i've made a list of duit raya give-aways.. (sigh) which amount to $XXX. hmm... gone were the days since i get duit raya.. and now it's already giving-back time. oh-well.
That's all for now i guess... till i blog again soon..
