Ok... The past 1 week has been a quite busy one. Packed with things out of the norm.
So here goes...
Last Sunday: The 50th Birthday celebration for the mum-in-law. Cooked fried bihun, fried chicken, popiah, samosa, hot dog, crab ball and made ice jelly. The 2kg cake we ordered was super huge and there were even left-over after about 20 people eating it. But, it was delicious and worth for the amount paid. Shall not reveal the price, but it's not cheap. =P
Monday: Work as normal + Time management workshop conducted by our director, Ms Angie Tay.
Tuesday: -On annual leave- met the in-laws for dinner @ West Coast Rd.
Wednesday: Work as normal.
Thursday: Service Ownership Symposium @ SIA training centre. Went with MingMei, Venil, Jimmy and KianHong. Spent half an hour (before the workshop) eating Mc breakfast while listening to the 2 guys commenting and eyeing the many SIA girls who walked past us. The workshop itself was very enriching and fun! Met many2 ppl from the various SIA depts. Met the bigshots too, who joined us for the dialogue session. Ended with a photo-taking session + buffet lunch spread + free t-shirt. Had to drag ourselves back to office after that cos it was just a half-day session. Good news was, we only had few hours before ending work @ 6pm. hehe.
Friday: Work as normal.
As for today, no plans till evening. So, most probably laze around the house. Spending more time on bed and lappie. Update Facebook, Multiply and Friendster. Borrowing dad's car later to go to his aunt's place for kenduri after maghrib. It was hubby who insisted me to drive. Thou my parking-paranoid is still very much not over yet. Oh well. I just hope for the best. haha...
No plans for tomorrow. No dates. No meet-ups planned. hmmm....

Actually, nothing much to update for now. Oh by the way, i'm effing angry at that neighbour upstairs. Here i am, on medical leave, trying to get ample of rest and i cant even do that! The drilling has been on-going since morning! My goodness.... given a choice, i so wanna go upstairs and ask them to stop i-m-m-e-d-i-a-t-e-l-y. sigh. I was soooo angry earlier that for donno what reason, i slammed my bedroom door real real hard - maybe thinking they could hear my anger by the loud slam. haha. but it didnt work. damn. but seriously it's sooooo irritating seh. I guess i just have to bear with it till 5 or 6pm. They'll definitely stop by then right? hmmmm....
Yesterday went to the gynae.. cos i was not feeling well and had splitting headaches. So i texted my manager that i wont be coming in for work. Called my gynae but she was full in the morning, thus slotted me for a 2.45pm appointment. Fetched lil bro and met kakak @ wdld mrt and then went to hunt for a pressie for mum-in-law before going for my appointment. So, got wat i wanted, had a quick bite and cab to Thomson Medical. It was the first time hubby didnt manage to accompany me. So kakak n jujul got a peek of my 'little one' during the scan. Its sooo fun... especially during the scan.. i can see the head, the body, the hands and legs... there was this part which seems like it was kicking in me, and jujul asked me "kak ila, sakit tak dia tendang?" i couldnt help it but laughed at him.. and explained that it's still too small for me to be feeling any pain.. since hubby sooo wanted to know the gender, i tried asking the doc if we can already see... so, she she scanned here and there.. trying to see in between the legs... but so far, cant really see yet... so maybe the next one she'll try to check again..
And by the way, i'm in my 2nd trimester now.. alhamdlillah. Hope it would be less tiring. =P
Anyways, there will be the 50th birthday celebration for the mum-in-law @ our place this sunday. Cake has been ordered, but we still donno who's goin to cook what. Thought of asking my mum, but she has a 300-pax order on the same day. Besides, she wont accept the money if we pay. hmm..... i'll worry about tiz later then.
My mum's 49th birthday is also coming up... 5th Sept.. Sis and I planning to get her a Coach bag... but we're still undecided... besides, need to do the budgeting @ the end of the month. Then we'll decide. hehe.
Hmm... nothing else for now. Back to work tomorrow... hmmph.
