With the escalated cases, pending cases, urgent cases i had to deal with, i had to be backlogged with about 60 transaction monitorings. dammit. I just h-a-t-e it. Anyway, i broke my previous record of being in office for 17 solid hours. I was in office for 18hours yesterday. Can u believe it? from 7am-1am. Haiz... anyway.... i'm left with 40+ transaction monitorings... contemplaing whether to go ofc today or tomoro to complete it.
Anyways, i was SOOOO stuck with ONE urgent case yesterday which took me the whole day to settle. Poor thing.. passenger was stranded in London Heathrow airport for 15hrs. His Turkish Airlines flight from London to Istanbul was cancelled by system and he cudnt get on the aircraft. It wasnt his fault and i totally undrstand why he is practically calling me every 15mins and shouting over the phone to get things done. Was sooooo helpless cos the changes we made to his booking doesnt reflect in TK's system. I wanted to help but i feel so lost bcos i kept having to call here and there with no outcome. So stresssssed that i decided to report the case to the Star Alliance in-charge who contacted the SIA station manager in London airport for help. So we practically had no choice and with only 30mins before flight departs, they issued a manual ticket for him. Phewww.... like finally! But of cos, case isnt close yet cos he demands for a compensation.... This i leave it to the SIA folks to decide.
Anyhoos.... appraisals is just round the corner.... think it will be completed next mth.... so eager to know if i can finally get the title and see if my basic salary will be starting with the number 2... heheh.....Boss, $2.5K can? pls laaaa...... lets wait n see....
Enuff abt work already.... got sumting else to blog on... but decided this may not be the right time... maybe later... later later..... so excited to know if it's trueor not.... too good to believe now... we shall wait. haaa.... keep u guys in suspense.

Ok, here goes....
First and foremost, i would like to congratulate myself for passing the TP test.
Finally, all the hours and money spent was worth it. It wasn't easy, but i'm glad i did not give up.
For the past 2 years, i have always wished to be able to drive. Seeing Radiyah and Nozie got their licence first, did not dampen my spirit. It was certainly very challenging (being over-committed to my previous travel agency job which resulted in no time for practicals and then saving money to get married) and i took sooooo long to finally own the driving licence.
Alhamdulillah.. i passed with 12 demerit pts.. so overwhelmed.. heeee =)
*Daddy, can i go for a spin in ur car? pls pls.... heee.....
Anyway, last weekend (14-15 June) had a family chalet (hubby's side) @ Downtown East.
Hubby and me only reached there @ abt 2pm.. then we joined the others to go WWW (wild wild wet) to have a splashing good time. haha... it was soooo much fun! but i guess it was kinda overpacked with ppl cos it's the school hols. However the fun ended with a tragedy.. well, it wasnt so serious... just some bleeding on the upper lips and the tip of my nose. So clumsy of me... hehe.. ok, no details here pls.
After WWW, we went back for a shower and then started preparing for BBQ. Mila and her hubby brought most of the stuff and we started BBQ-ing @ abt 7+... Had soooo much to eat... The teens (shasha, afiq, shukur) as well as hubby and me planned for a bowling game @ E! Hub after the BBQ. Since the bowling place closes only @ 5am, we thought of going around midnite. We were so suprised to find out there was a waiting list and we were on number 69! haha.... so we switched plan and went for a movie instead.. Kung Fu Panda... @ 2.05am.
We treated the teens and threaten if any of them falls asleep during the movie, they have to pay us back... haha.. ended up hubby n me fell asleep instead.. but for a short period of time only ar.. heee... after the movie which ended at 3+ am, we went downstairs to try our luck again. And there was an empty lane... so, being half awake, we played only 1 game... Shukur won with a total of 77pts... Hubby n me had a tie of 71pts.. then Shasha was fourth, followed by Afiq..
We finished playing and went back to the the chalet @ 4.30am...
Morning came and it's time for cleaning-up followed by checking-out by 10am. After that we slacked @ Mami Leha's house till about 8pm and went home.. Was soooo worn-out and felt sick by then... So anyway, we had a splendid weekend... =)
The whole of last week was busy with work as usual. Only difference was, i took half-day AL on wednesday, thursday and friday...to go for my practs... other than that, i am STILL backlogged with the never-ending transaction monitorings..... urggghh.... tot of goin into office today, but it was raining cats n dogs.... so, i procastinated yet again. haha....

Last week had been such a long and BUSY week.
I was practically begging for Friday, so that i can enjoy the weekend.
And so, on saturday, had an outing with my family.. to Downtown East. We had such a splendid time... Ate lunch @ Sakura International Buffet. We ate to our heart's content... or should i say, to our tummy's content. Haha... My parents were not really up to it in the 1st place, but when they saw all those food, they simply cant resist it either... The funniest part was after the meal.. Mum was practically dragging herself.. and her face looked so cramp bcos of eating too much i guess... after 15mins or so then she's ok.. haha...
Next, for the 1st time ever, we played bowling together! I have always been wanting this to happen.. i mean, it's a family activity u see.. haha... and boy, i take my hats off dad.... he's such a natural! it was his 1st time and he beat our scores... hmm... must do this more often... =)
Then, we went to the airport (T3) and bought dinner @ Popeyes.... woohooo... yummylicious! I am one contented and happy person. Thank u mum, dad... =)
