Birthday Bash on 29Dec 2007.
The most-awaited day finally came.. Though it was a belated birthday, these was wat happened:
First, Nozie brought me to aFond Spa @ Outram for an Aromatheraphy Body Massage and Heat Rub treatment sponsored by herself, Radiyah and Maria. Tanx girls... i really needed dat!
The heat rub was good.. very relaxing. The massage was fulfilling but the masseuse betol nye tak kasi chance.. it was unbearable at one point but i've got myself to blame. Knowing that my urat-urat dah memang tersimpul, the masseuse really tried to straighten it. Hmmm... so now my body is aching and sore.. but in a good way... haha.
Next, to the WestMall. Was suspicious at first cos nozie said we gonna haf late lunch together. just the both of us. But my gut-feeling was right.. we met Aizz and Rad -at the escalator! Then came apiz, hyder n his gerl (whose name is oso fadhilah), maria n famie, last but not the least, ellyna. Ok, so they treated me wit the all-time-fav ice cream cake.... yummmmmmy!!
After all those calories we put on, time for Bowling @ Bt Batok CSC. Had fun... didnt really win, but didnt really lose too.... heee..... =) Must learn to play better frm famie....
Then we all walked bck towards WestMall, when we saw an open-air theatre just beside the MRT. They were screening Shrek2 in the public for free.... So the gang went to buy dinner @ KFC and decided to go watch Shrek2... but the movie was over. Nxt they screened a chinese movie "Eye in the sky". Of cos there's subtitle... and the movie was great! So, we had a picnic-like dinner infront of a huge screen watching movie... which ended like almost at 11pm.
So, after that, it was time to say good-bye... It was indeed one of the best birthday celebration i ever ever had. Thank you all for making it sucha wonderful experience for me.... and a special thank you to Nozie, who planned and co-ordinated the event. Sorry i asked too much questions.... heeeee...... =P

It's 25th December today... means it's Chrstmas.. means no work for me... wheee!
Haha... loathe to work on a PH, but im scheduled to work on New Year instead. Anyways.
Hubby's off to work already and here i am on my bed, lazing arnd with nothing to do..
It's good to do this at times.. but not too often coz seriously speaking, i'll turn into one lazy bump. No no.. need to clean the house n do laundry.. later.
Finally figured out how to connect my mp3 to my new laptop.
Fact is, im not used to windows vista.. preferred windows xp actually.
Nothing much to update for now.. Just dat im soooo looking forward to my belated birthday celebration planned by my dearest bestie, Nozie. She hides the plan well and wont let me know wats in-store for me... i shall be a gd girl and wait patiently for the next 4days. I shall not force her to tell me in advance. Heh. Enuff said...

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii peeps! I AM BACK.
My apologies for the non-update for lyk 5mths now.
As u know, my wedding was on 2nd Sept and then comes the honeymoon, then comes fasting month, then comes hari raya, then comes the "moving house".
Ok, so now i'm more or less "settled-down". No doubt, the past months have been a roller-coaster ride for me. Indeed these changes have tremendously affected me both, emotionally and physically.
Getting married is not as simple as what it seems to be. Saving $$ is sumting that not every1 can do. Most of us spend $$ faster than earning it. Some of us even get "broke" before the next pay-day. Some of us create another bank account , as a measure to finance ourselves better, but ended up closing the account instead. So this is one of the greatest challenge i faced. I avoided window-shopping all together and only buy what i need. No more monthly shoes-bag-clothes shopping. I treated myself to shopping only once every 3-4 mths. Else, my salary (after deducting bills, ez-link and daily pocket money) will go into my savings account. The reason why i had to go to this extent bcos i had only 2yrs to save money. Thanks to my undisciplined ways. I procrastinated and suffered later. A lesson well-learnt.
I shall not go into details of my wedding in here, but it is definitely a wonderful experience.
The feeling of being the Queen-of-the-day is just un-explainable.
It felt so p-e-r-f-e-c-t.
Credits to Our Wedding Affairs for the beautiful wedding dias and the ever-so-professional mak andam, Kak Lynn. Credits to my parents, siblings, cousins, aunties, uncles and frens for going out of their way to ensure i had the perfect setting, food and decorations for my wedding. No amount of thank you will ever be enough for what they've sacrificed to make my dreams come true.
Honeymoon was just a short get-away. We had 4 days in Berjaya Tioman Resort.
The deluxe chalet was superb. It was just few steps away from the beach.
To top it all, our room had a seaview and the sunsets/sunrises are perfectly romantic.
Food was the best!! So many choices and i just LOVE the buffet spread.
There is also a game room, where we played pool and arcade games. FUN!
Unfortunately, hubby didnt feel good to go for snorkelling. So, we missed that.
But all in all, it was an experience not to forget.
Guessed wat? we didnt go home after 4 days there. Once we arrived in Singapore, i made a phone call to Harris Resort Batam and asked if they have a room for 2 nights. And yes, once we alighted at Newton Circus, we hailed a cab to Harbourfront Ferry Terminal.
We took the ferry to Batam Centre, had dinner @ A&W and cab to Harris Resort.
As i previously had good relations with the staff there (thanks to the frequent tour-leading when i was with Transinex trvl agency) our room was upgraded. Pool view room wih a super duper big comfy bed. **smiles**
More food galore, tasty all-time fave italian pizzas, never-ending bowling session and hours of soaking in pool. We didnt feel like going home. hahaha... enuff said.
Fasting mth and Hari Raya this year was a more meaningful one for me.
For the first time, we celebrated as husband and wife. =)
5th November was moving day. We officially moved in to our home.
This is when the unpacking begins.... tiring but exciting.
We initially felt awkward when there's only both of us in the house - i came from a family of 7.
So, somehow it felt lonely at times.. no one else to talk or joke with.
But sooner or later, we adapted to the changes. Of cos, there were more responsibilities as well.
I had to cook and do laundry. He vacuums the house and mops the floor.
So, pardon me again for not able to update in here.
Oh by the way, Happy belated 21st Birthday to me ... =)
I've finally reached the 'legal' age on 21 December. An age which i'm suppose to get the 'key'.
But like what others say, i've gotten my key even before my birthday... haha.....
